Mr. Alternator Sales Policy and Warranty Information

Sales Policy

Return any unused product which is unaltered, uncut and undamaged within 30 days of purchase date. Refunds do not include cost of shipping.

Returns Policy

All warranty claims must first be submitted by email to the company. If a claim is validated you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number. All returns must have a (RA) number. Product returned without a (RA) number will be returned to shipper.

á Please e-mail for a Return Authorization (RA) number prior to making a return shipment.

á Write the (RA) number assigned on the outside of each carton returned.

á All returns must be shipped freight prepaid.

á Any returns made without a (RA) number clearly marked on the outside of the box will be returned to the shipper!

á Claims for shortages must be made within 10 days of receipt.

á Shipping damage claims must be filed with the appropriate transportation company; they are responsible for any in-transit damage.

á All returns must be in original packaging/ Alternators need to be double-boxed and packaged in paper.

á PLEASE DO NOT PACKAGE ALTERNATORS IN STYROFOAM PACKING PEANUTS! A cleaning fee may be assessed if the alternator is packed in Styrofoam peanuts.

á Any product packed improperly may be refused for credit, alternators are heavy and fragile so pack with care..

á A restocking fee will be applied at the discretion of Mr. Alternator .

Shipping Policy

All orders shipped F.O.B. unless otherwise specified.

Product Warranty

Mr. Alternator warrants products to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty covers failure due to defects in material and workmanship only. All complete (pre-assembled) Alternator and Starters will be covered by a return and repair guarantee for a period of twelve (12) months from date of delivery unless otherwise stated on sales receipt. The warranty period commences on the day the product is delivered to the original consumer/purchaser and is not transferable.

This warranty does not apply to loss of vehicle or equipment, loss of time, inconvenience or other incidental or consequential damages.

Mr. Alternator shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damage arising out of, or from the uses of Mr. Alternator product by the buyer, its assignees, employees, agents or customers.

This warranty does not apply, if in the sole judgment of Mr. Alternator, the product has been damaged due to accident, improper installation, adjustment, wiring neglect, misuse or application for which it is not designed or altered in any way so as to affect adversely its reliability and performance. Also excluded from this warranty are parts subject to normal wear (i.e. brushes, bearings, etc.).

Warranty requires that all repairs or replacement under the terms of its limited warranty must be performed by Mr. Alternator.

Defective or malfunctioning products must be shipped prepaid, with (RA) number to the factory for warranty consideration.

This limited warranty shall apply to Mr. Alternator and shall not apply to any other equipment and its removal or installation, or to any loss damage resulting from extraneous causes (including, but not limited to owner misuse). The implied warranties, which the law imposes on the sale of these products, are expressly limited in duration to the warranty periods specified on the Warranty. Under no circumstance shall Mr. Alternator be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of the warranty. Mr. Alternator does not authorize any person to create for it, any obligation or liability in connection with these products. This warranty provides specific legal rights, and there may be other rights that vary from state to state.

Charge backs

Under no circumstances shall a customer charge back credit card payment to Mr. Alternator. once the a purchase has been made. You must follow the product warranty and return procedures outlined above. If a customer charges back a credit card payment without following the warranty and return procedures they will be automatically charged to the credit card used in the original transaction the original purchase price of the product including shipping plus the $25.00 bank charge back fee and a $10.00 administrative fee.
